While my PhD was on studying the business of websites that lead to evaluation criteria of eCommerce websites, my Post-Doc is on disaster recovery in the context of business survival. Is it a digression or is it a continuation??
In the PhD work I was interested in evaluating websites (eCommerce) as a business task. Usually, evaluation is taken from the customers experience point of view and focussed on the technical issue. Evaluating the website as a business task require the evaluation to be taken from the organisation perspective or more particularly, the owner's experience. Owners experience point of view give insight into whether the website is acheiving its objectives. otherwise, things need to be done to remedy the unacheived expectations.
In the Post-Doc work, looking at those concepts that matters for businesses to continue after a disaster strikes.
